Bonnici Group operates from its head office in Burmarrad, Malta and prides itself with over 35 years of experience, commitment and service to the local civil engineering and road building industry. The Group was set up in 1975 by co-founders and brothers John, Benjamin, Emanuel and Mario Bonnici. Currently Bonnici Group is constituted by four companies, Bonnici Brothers Limited, Zrar Limited, United Equipment Co. (UNEC) Limited and UNEC Leasing.

During these years the Group diversified its portfolio of activities, attaining leadership in the local construction industry. It has enhanced its production with a hard stone quarry operated by Zrar Limited., where it also manages a ready mixed batching and hot asphalt plant and polymer modified bitumen plant under the registered name of Sealoflex. Through United Equipment Co (UNEC) Ltd the Group also represents various world renowned brand names which has as its principal activity the importation and supply of heavy plant and industrial machinery and relative spare parts. Another milestone was achieved when UNEC Leasing was launched and is the extended arm of UNEC offering a variety of industrial and warehouse equipment as well as vans and trucks for lease.

The Directors' commitment, integrity, expertise and customer satisfaction is proven by the relationship established over the years with its customers. Nowadays the Group employs over 180 people, including a team of professional, technical and skilled employees managed by a proficient management.
